Fresh Fashion Brand Givenchy announced their latest Men’s and Women’s Wear Ready-to-wear collection virtually. The collection was created by Givenchy’s Men and Women’s creative designer, Matthew Williams.
The Autumn Winter Collection features loud designs and patterns. The collection has mixed reaction among the audience. However, Williams says that,
“In many ways, this collection is about a constant tension between two worlds. It’s about finding personal meaning in difficult circumstances; it’s about sincerity in what we do rather than strategy. We wanted to bring a sense of lived reality alongside precision, elegance and extravagance in the clothing and looks. Ultimately, fashion for us is a way of being, feeling and connecting rather than a game to be played. It’s almost like monumentalising the everyday, filling it with emotion – like music you can wear.” via @Givenchy
William co- owns a fashion label , ALYX with Luca Benini. The brand has collaborated with some of the biggest names such as Dior, Nike, Moncler, Mackintosh and Bang & Olufsen.
The Givenchy Aw21 collection will hit the stores, and it will be interesting to see how it fares in the global market.
